AIMS member Bret Ceren sends in the following question...
Where can I find statistics regarding average increase in sales for a bricks-and-mortar B2C business that creates a web presence? I can seem to find the needles I need in the Internet haystack, so I'll take any and all leads.
Thanks!
Anyone have any ideas for Bret?
Hi!
eMarketer is a good source and had recently issued the Canada B2C eCommerce Report in January 07. It discusses overall the B2C online arena in Canada. Keep in mind, even in US research you will find that most of the time when speaking about increases in $ or % it will include the travel/ticketing sales. This is no different in the Canadian numbers. Based on the eMarketer report it states that Canadian B2C eCommerce will grow to $10.5B (26.3% inc) in 2007.
Another resource is Internetretailer.com though it is more US based and I would also check out Forrester Research.
I hope this helps!

A man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame somebody else.
